Types of Plot Rentals
Application for Rental
Long Season Rental
March 1st - Feb 28th, 1 full year - 100$ per rental.
Short Season Rental
First week of June to Sept 15th* - 50$ per rental.
*This season works around the planting and growing schedules of the LGE students.
Annual Schedule
January 15th
Member applications due. Need an application? Click here.
February 1st
Plot assignment notifications sent out.
February 28th
If you are not renewing your plot rental, everything must be cleaned up and ready for transfer to a new gardener.
March 1st
First day of Long Season plot rentals.
May 15th
Abandonment decision date - if there is no clear evidence of active gardening, plots will be offered to new gardeners.
First week of June
First day of Short Season plot rentals.
Sept 15th
Last day of Short Season plot rentals. Plots must be cleared and ready for student gardeners by this date.
November 15th
Last day of Long Season plots for those who do not intend to winter garden.
Gardens must be cleared of debris and ready for winter by this date.
Elections for the Board
September 1st
Deadline for nominations for the Board of Directors.
Second Thursday of October
General Elections held at Garden Meeting. Elections are held on odd numbered years. Board Members serve for 2 year terms.
